Hi

This is how cameras & me
came to be

2016 was my first year getting up close and personal with cameras of any kind.  I was heading into my sophomore year at Illinois State University (ISU) and searching for a part-time job or internship.  My role as Production Intern at Redbird Productions began that fall semester.  This internship allowed me to come in with no experience and learn an immense amount about cameras and broadcasting with direct hands-on experiences.  Each weekend I found myself excited to go into work filming a wide variety of home sports games.  I went from working shoulder cams one week, highlight camera the next, and occasionally behind the scenes roles such as replay operator or graphics.  I ended up spending my final 3 years of school working primarily as a camera operator.  My skillset developed incredibly throughout my time there, leading me to work annual freelance jobs aired on NBC Sports Chicago or acting as in-house director for our videoboard shows in the arena.

With an upcoming study abroad trip planned for Spring 2018 I splurged and bought myself my first DSLR camera, a Nikon D5300.  Let me tell you, I took that thing EVERYWHERE.  I’ve noticed its a “honeymoon” phase all first time DSLR owners go through.  It came along with me to Japan as I spent 6 months studying at Kansai Gaidai University.  I was so thankful to have it to capture lifetime memories with amazing people in such gorgeous places.

After returning home in 2018, I decided it was time to start broadening my photography horizons into other passions of mine.  I’ve been extremely lucky to work with wonderful people who have given me great opportunities to grow.  Most notably Wub Life Ent. welcomed me with open arms as I progressed along side them.  Shooting their ever evolving stage designs and phenomenal EDM shows.  I now have 3 years of experience covering primarily music and sporting events of all shapes and sizes.  This has given me the confidence to be successful shooting wherever I go.

Today, I find myself in a new place as I have just recently moved from Illinois to the Tampa Bay area for work.  I look forward to progressing onward with new faces and providing the best captures for anyone who I have the pleasure of working with.
